Yamaha RoadStar 2006 |
| About: |
I'm a 71 year old who has been riding off and on since I was 27. At that time I bought my first bike, a used 1960 Suzuki 125 cc street/off road motorcycle. Then I had a 350 Yamaha, a 350 Honda and then went up to a 750 Yamaha with full fairing. Then stopped riding for about 20 years. Started riding again around 2000 with a used 1200 Harley Sportster. Rode that a few years and then got a new 2004 Yamaha 1100 V-Star and in 2006 I got my present ride, a new Yamaha 1700 Road Star Midnight. I'm planning on this one lasting until I have to stop riding, which will be when I can no longer swing my leg up over the saddle. ;+( But riding has been one of the great joys of my life and is one of the few things any more which can still bring an involuntary smile to my face. |

Barons BAK Roadstar - V102 (99-07)
|
If you want to find the true potential in your engine, install this kit, which includes the larger air intake and new carburetor jets, and you will not believe how much more power you'll have in each gear. Going 65 in fifth and roll on the throttle and you will be doing 85 before you know it!! Awesome!! |

Kuryakyn Magnum™ Mirrors - Large Head with Standard Stem: Chrome Head with Chrome Stem (Pair)
|
These mirrors are really nice looking, but they are very hard to adjust AND KEEP adjusted! The stems also keep loosening up no matter how tightly I turned the fastening bolt. Probably should have tried using some Loc-tite! |
